Valentine’s Day has always been on my list of favorite holidays. I love the hearts, the pinks and reds, the chocolate, the flowers, the yummy dinners and the cheesy cards, I love it all. Having a designated day that is overwhelmingly full of love and affection is never a bad thing. Single - If you are the lone ranger of the bunch and all of your friends seem to have mushy Valentine’s Day plans why not do something for yourself? Call the nearest spa and book their most luxurious massage, after an hour of pampering and relaxation the only person you will be thinking about is you.
Girlfriends - If you plan on spending today with a group of your closest girlfriends why not throw a “Galentine’s Day” soiree? A few bottles of wine, an array of take out menus and Magic Mike should do the trick.
Taken - If you are in a relationship hopefully your other half is planning a romantic evening (I HATE planning anything so I have no problem giving my boyfriend complete control). A nice dinner is a given but anything without reservations can be disastrous. I am always game for outside of the box ideas as well, whether it be a hot air ballon ride or a picnic on the living room floor. After all, it's not where you go or what you do, it's who is beside you that counts.
Whatever you have planned I hope it your day is filled with love. Make sure you take the time to tell the special people in your life how much they mean to you and how much you truly love them. Happy Valentine's Day! XOXO
